It was her love of surfing that gave her a big break into the world of modeling. In 2001,while scooping out bigger waves in Santa Barbara, she was discovered by Mario Testino, a famous photographer. He took a few pictures of her and went back to his studio. Not long afterwards, Marisa was called and asked if he wanted to become a model.
  Her first real magazine pictoral was for Perfect 10 magazine. Because she was so new to the industry, the photo layout was of her posing nude. However, her this spread lead this beautiful California surfer girl to better things and she next appeared in the 2001 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
  After that, the job offers came pouring in. She has since modeled for Victoria’s Secret, Tommy Hilfiger, J. Crew and Nordstrom. She has also appeared in magazines such as Shape, Fitness and Vogue – not to mention a few more issues Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
  In 2004, she made her way onto television as a judge for the TV series Manhunt: The Search for America’s Most Gorgeous Male Model. She has also appeared on a few talk shows including The View and The Sharon Osbourne Show. She likes television and would like to one day become a television sportscaster.
  Hobbies & Interests: Surfing, volleyball, watching football and NASCAR.
